Staff is what you'd expect for the normal union Safeway employee's. Few are friendly, helpful and the rest are rude, don't want to be there and it shows. When they have self check out available I try to use them. They know they can't get in trouble for attitudes and it starts from the top.
Safeway has made some awful changes. Poor staffing, customer service. The meat prices have gone up, while quality has gone done (check beef grades). There are no self-check stands anymore. Terrible to their own community members. Very disappointing. Deena told my fiance that after waiting for 45 minutes with kids for service that she couldn't help her complete a simple task. When I called to ask what happened she ranted on about all the things she had to deal with. Very terrible. We're going elsewhere from now on.
Meat selections are really good. Pharmacy is fast.
It's a decent Safeway. But there are no self checkouts, so it can get very busy.
Very friendly staff. This us the only big grocery in Duvall, so expect to always bumped in to someone you know.
